I need help to see if I hve done enough to prove shared finances , please. I tried to add my spouse to my utility bills & as per my state rules they can only have one person on the bill . So far all I could add him to is to my land phone bill , water bill & two credit cards. I was able to add him to my will  & my one checking account ( some activity in it ) . When it comes to savings is it ok to add him as beneficiary or does it hve to be joint owner ?

This looks really good so far. Don't worry about the savings right now

If you filed a joint tax return, that would work as well. But overall this should be sufficient evidence. Best of luck!!!

I've been informed that you can add people as "Authorized Persons" which yes would keep you as the main person, but this should help!
