Just wondering if there is anyone here who has had his/her interview in Germany? My husband will be transferring there for his job. His interview in Pakistan was horrible. But just wondering....And, by the way, we are not embassy shopping. He is going where his job assigns him.

I am from Germany, but if I was you I wouldnt be too worried, since the german embassy is very easy to go through compared to other embassies. There is not the typical "oh you just want the greencard" thought in their minds as it is in other countries.

The only thing I cant really tell you is, how it works out since your husband had already an interview in pakistan. Like why does he even have to go through two interviews? That might raise concern.

I would refer to their previous posts. The very short version is that they have a complicated case as a result of the previous visa interview. There will be scrutiny.

That said, I hope the OP and their spouse can make it over this hurdle and get reunited. Good luck.

I don't have personal experience with that situation, sorry, but I would presume the actual interview shouldn't be anywhere near that of the previous one. The result will consider previous events, though.

Oh I see, yeah i agree their previous interview will definitely be considered in it, but the actual interview will be fair.

The letter for the german embassy doesnt ask for extra evidence at the interview, and they dont want to see anything, but if I was your husband I would still bring as much evidence as you guys have collected, since you guys do have this other interview over your head.

We found out that our papers have been assigned to someone at Nebraska after over a year. My husband will be in Germany for work by the end of September. I am hoping we get an interview in Germany. Do they allow the spouse to go in with the beneficiary?

While researching on VJ for my own case I came across a lot of your posts and just wanna wish you well. I hope you two get to be together for good (insha'Allah)!! Best of luck with the interview!!
