OK good.

DS 260 is the application for the beneficiary- it isn't a form to fill out, it's an interactive application, you answer the questions presented on each page.

DQ is documentary qualified.  Once you submit all your documents for NVC stage, you wait to become DQ'd and then receive the interview letter.

Thank you!

Congratulations to all tht received ur next step to gettin closer to ur spouse.. as for me I’m still waitin to get the approval pd July 29 and lasted date was oct 29. Haven’t seen any changes since thn..How many more of us in July are still waitin??

Lots of us still waiting. Especially those of us with Nebraska. Our PD is July 9th, we hadn’t had any date change since September but were one of the ones that did get a date update last week so I’m hoping this is good news and we will hear something soon. I’m sure there’s more waiting in July than have been approved still too.
Our turn will come 👍🏻

Typically the system will not let you 'start now' until after the payment has process dor a day or two. Does it say 'payment processing' or 'paid'? Regardless, if it allows you to click the 'start now' button, I would!

I see. You can start the AOS process by uploading the application and all related documents. But I would wait to submit everything (IV application and civil documents) on the same day.

We haven’t been approved. Others with the same PD have though, and many others from other dates in July too. But most of those had Texas or Potomac as their centers.
As for how the system works...... 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ We have no idea how they pick and choose which ones they’ll work on next, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer.

Someone on FB with an NOA1 date of July 16th at Potomac called USCIS and were told they were approved already, the system just hadn't updated.

With an NOA1 date of July 18th at the same SC, think I'll ask my husband to call towards the end of the week and chance our luck to see what they say, haha.

Can you send the link to the fb group, and to that thread in particular?

I don't think I am allowed to post links, but it's in two groups — the one you should be able to find is IOE Receipt Numbers - I130 CR1& K1 US Visa Alliance and the post is right at the top. :)
