Dominican Republic filers

I’m creating this form for anyone who is applying for there partners in Dominican Republic. I want to extend a chat group or exchange of numbers to create a community that can help one another on a more one on one basis or anyone looking to chat with persons whom are going threw  the same process and want to just make new friends in the community.

Yes for some reason my VJ page is always confusing to me so I figured I’d make a post that makes it more manageable for people to reach out make new friends and just have people they can relay on and understand what they are going threw with the process sometimes it can be stressful and confusion sets in....so it’s always a great way to start a support system and hey making new friends never hurts !

I thought about that but I don’t have any social media Facebook or snap or Instagram. So I figured best way is one on one direct contact. Feel free to send me a text !!! (removed) We definitely can connect and help one another in whatever I can assist with I’m an open book !

When I see participation and excitement that you are exhibiting I see a group who are taking their process in hand and wanting to help each other.  That's great. 

 

I invite you to explore VJ for gems to uncover to help. Here are two suggestions.

 

1. Go up to the blue ribbon, select forums, then scroll down 3/4 of the page and find your sub-forum (Caribbean). Begin asking questions of others who are going through the same embassy as you.

 

2. Start a PM group here on VJ. If you want to send a private message to only that one person then select their picture which will then populate their personal page. Look to the right of their nickname and you should see a blue box that says "message" with a white envelope. Select it then you are able to send them a personal message that no one else can see. I hope this helps. 

 

The more you participate here on VJ the more likely you'll get help from seasoned veterns who have experience your path. Grouping together somewhere else you only have others with the same level of knowledge answering your questions and maybe the outcome is not what you were looking for.

Great. I do have a question, why the embassy of Dominican Republic is taking so long to set interview after NVC approval AOS?

I'm afraid the answer to yiur question can't be answered as none of are privy to the inner workings of the DR embassy.  

 

There are checks at the Embassy. The Embassy will take a biometric (fingerprints) from the beneficiary at the time of the interview. During post interview processing the fingerprint card is scanned and checked against a number of interagency data bases to ensure the true integrity of the individual who is migrating.  
 

There are additional processes but none that i have seen.

CR-1 and CR-2 waiting for interview in Dr. CC date may 17. No news about interview since my cases were complete at nvc

Have you followed up with the embassy? I’m starting to feel like these cr1-2 are taking much longer.

I call the embassy in the beginning of last week but they said they have nothing to do. They said NVC is the one that have to give us a date and they can not give me more information. Call NVC they said and follow up with them. And when I call nvc they said there is not time frame of when I will get interview
