good morning,  do you no how long after your case is completed at NVC it take to reach Jamaica? and how can I check to see the visa availabilities?.

That question has been answered. Please read the thread so you are always updated. The quick answer is no one knows for sure how long anything takes. We can only give guesstimation. I address this question in the PDF on the first page. Please read the PDF and refer to it BEFORE you ask a question that has already been explained in the PDF.

Read the PDF. That's why I created it. To answer your questions. Then when you want me to. verify my answer I can say "read the PDF". The last entry in the PDF gives you every shipping date to the end of the year.

Intent is not to verify your answers  it’s just I missed reading the last entry(human error) 😞

Thank you :) , yeah that's right , I did that , got an answer but I was just wondering if there was a more "precise"way to find out as it doesn't seem  to be a lot of people from France doing the k1 process at the moment and not a lot of recent info

You can submit it as soon as you have your case number so nothing wrong with what you did.

There is no way to correct mistakes but you can submit a new one.

Q1 - No, because once you have the case number and up to the time you score a interview date the DS-160 needs to be submitted.

Q2 - WOW. Did he mess that up. This is why I put a paragraph in about filling out forms together and who has to submit what. I ALWAYS recommend that the two of you work on the I-134 and DS-160 together to avoid just what you got yourself into.

If he started one for himself and then at the end it ask something to effect, do you have another (case K-2?) that will accompany you and you say yes then it populates your information onto the new entry and then you begin to complete a DS-160 for them and it happens again at the end of that form for any others, if so then yes and begin a new one for the 2 K-2.

You have to contact the ustraveldocs for your area. Since you have not filled out your profile completely I can't help you any further. Also, please don't post this more then once. It gets very confusing for other and it is a pain in the butt for me to take time out of my busy day to answer something that others have already answered. It's jus good VJ etiquette.

If you have read the PDF you would have seen this:

Work together on your DS-160 made easy: TeamViewer allows you to remotely access and control the desktop of your computers and servers from anywhere, on a 3G or better internet connection. This access is device agnostic and completely secure. Use TeamViewer to connect the Petitioner and the Beneficiary should work together on the DS-160. Using TeamViewer you will identify any problems that need correcting as you work together. Considering that the beneficiary will be legally required to submit the document you both should feel secure that it is correct prior to submitting your document. The use of the software is free and you can download and read more about it here.

https://www.teamviewer.com/en-us/

https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/12-excellent-free-screen-sharing-and-remote-access-tools-you-havent-heard-of-yet/

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

I wasn’t sure it posted the first time in the right place and couldn’t find what forum ig was in to check which is why it was posted twice.

I read the pdf and we did fill out our together. The only part he did alone was uploading the pic, signing it, & submitting it when he should have just uploaded the pic and saved it.

Not sure what else is needed for my profile to be completed but my timeline is up to date. My fiancé’s home country is Jamaica, I got my case number 8/21, & our case is still at NVC

The US are not listed because you don't need one, they did the background checks themselves with USCIS no need for a police certificate 👍

that's great thank you! :)

Hello All

My case says ready but it shows two case numbers. Its the same number but has an extra 1and 2 behind it. Example lgs2019******01 &lgs2019******02. Can some one tell me why i have a 1 &2 behind my case number to make it into two case numbers?

I hope this made sense.

Thank you. So one for my fiancee and the other for his son.  On the DS160 when asked will the child be coming we marked no. Does this mean that he has to take his son with him to the interview or any documents about his son ? Also we didn't complete a DS160 for his son either, does that affect anything?

Just want to be prepared.

The Nvc ships to the embassy every other Tuesday so next shipment date is September 3rd. You have to register on a website and pay to get a date. Did you do your DS160?
