Question.  When traveling abroad, what name should be on my plane ticket?  My passport has maiden name, but the green card will have my new name.  We are planning to take the Foreign passport, the GC and the marriage certificate.  Anyone experience this before... im sure someone has to have experience.  Thanks!!

Book the ticket in the name in your passport. When entering the US, if asked, present passport, green card and marriage certificate. That should take care of it.

Well, once you've got a valid photo ID (state ID / driver's license ) in your new name, you could use that for domestic travel.

You are correct but I am answering the question at hand of traveling abroad. So when you are traveling abroad you need to ALWAYS book the plane tickets with the name on the passport.
