Do I need a recent police certificate?

I have a police certificate from Germany that is 14 years old. However, I have never lived in Germany again since the date of this police certificate. Do I still need to obtain a new police certificate?

i am sure the certificate you have is long expired. try and get a new one to avoid delays.. they want one for everywhere you have lived since you were 16

You definitely need a recent police certificate, start working on how to get that in order to avoid drawbacks in your immigration process.

No, you do not need a new pcc if you never went back to Germany. But it would be better if you had a more current PCC.

you do not need new police report from Germany if you never went back.no matter how old it is. But it doesn't hurt if you get a new one as back up.thanks
