Hey guys,

we our interview ( me and my spouse) 5 days ago, the consul told us that we will be notified when to pick up our passports, he kept them.

when we checked the case status the other day at CEAC, it says READY for my wife (main applicant), while AP for me.

is this weird ? have anyone of you encountered the same issue or do you know someone who had ?

have a wonderful day

My husband's CEAC was "Ready" for two days then changed to AP. It was in AP for a week. His visa was issued but now we are waiting to hear that he can pick up his passport.

ready means ready for interview (only)

everyone will go into AP but they have not updated her site yet

when the visa is really ready ,  it will say issued or issued and printed

will take about a month after issued for Aramex to have the passport with visa stamp

so, let us know when this happens

thank you guys for taking the time to reply, the reason why i'm confused, is that we don't have the same status, is this normal ?

Why would it be confusing? You guys have two seperate passports and visas and are two different people, yours is being processed and hers hasnt been worked on yet so it still says "Ready" as in ready for interview. Be patient, it will be issued soon, congrats.

Yes it’s normal, the updates are done by humans, often they may save time by just updating one person in a case. Don’t worry about it. The only time to worry is if only one is “issued” and the other not, or, obviously, if any of them are “refused”.
