Can an f2b case with pd sept 2018 be expedited?

Hi guys please help me my mom filed in for my elder brother when he was not yet 21 he was under f2a that was in 2018 few weeks ago when his case was sent to nvc he had turned 21 already and his case was changed to f2b is it possible for his case to be expedited?

Never heard of that kind of expedite.

29.11.2013 - NoA1

06.02.2014 - NoA2

01.04.2014 - Interview. 

AoS

03.2015 - AoS started.

09.2015 - Green Card received.  

RoC

24.07.2017 - NoA1.

01.08.2018 - RoC approved.

I doubt it, but it never hurts to try... what is the worse response.... No.. but you know you tried... send them an email.... i think they respond within 3-7 days...

Everything will work together for his Good. Trust God and send the email, accept whatever the result is and keep the faith

F2a to F2b is based on simple mathematics, 

Cspa age= Actual age when PD becomes current - i130 processing time

 

if cspa age >=21, then F2b else F2a.

 

Sending an email doesn’t work. It may change back to F2a if his PD becomes current in next few months which is highly unlikely that’s why NVC put him on F2b.

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

That's true and it's v v sad to knw we hv to wait for like 5 years 😭😭😭😭

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

My brother went through the same thing. My mom filed for him when he was 20, as soon as he turned 21, they moved him to f2b. It has been 6 years since my mom filed (2013), he got documentary approval from NVC June 26, 2019 and now we are waiting for his interview date for the Cameroon embassy. We heard it takes a couple of months to get the interview date as well. It is a long road...no way to expedite this. Sorry but this is the truth.

Damn! That’s sad but we just have to take it like I myself I’m from Cameroon waiting for IL for like 7 months now... I’m just tired of the whole thingy
