NVC Processing

Hello everyone!

 

I have a quick little question in regards to to NVC Processing.

I submitted my petition in November 2018 and it's estimated to be approved this month!

So, I was wondering how the NVC process goes?

Could someone please tell me what I would be needing, what the process is like and how long it would take to finalise?

Really depending on many factors but in general (or at least with my wife’s case):

 

- Up to 6-8 weeks to receive NVC Case# and Invoice #. 

 

- Around 1 week to process the payment

 

- Up to 3 weeks to review uploaded documents. Any rejected doc may need another 3 weeks to review.

 

- Up to 4 weeks to receive interview date (which will be the next 3-4 weeks). This can vary greatly by consulates.

 

Total estimate: 3-5 months.
