I've booked my interview for the 20th May but I'm not sure if I'll end up needing to rebook it for a later date. Do I have to change it at least 24 hours before the original appointment time, or can it be changed even an hour before the appointment time?

And how many days do I leave between the Medical and Interview?

I can't figure out what circumstance would cause you to cancel just an hour before except maybe going into premature labor...or  a heart attack perhaps?  Can you explain further where your thinking is on this? Are you prone to sudden onset of extreme illness?

I have seen a few cases where people have sought to change the interview date or something happened, a few worked out OK but many did not, so if you need to you need to but expect significant delays if that happens.

The place to start looking is at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv . There's also a non immigrant site too, so make sure you get the right one. Then make yourself an account and go from there.

I would assume the embassy prefers rescheduled appointments to missed ones. However be prepared to wait a long time as a result. I almost had to go this route myself, thankfully did not.

My advice, try not to reschedule appointments if you can at all help it. It just leads to confusion and for many people it has led to their petitions being misplaced and loads of other issues!
