    Received my partner's greencard in the mail today. Pretty much 5 years from the date we filed for the K-1. No interview, probably because I am OCD and overdelivered at every step - but who knows for sure. I am happy about it but I can't ignore how long, stressful and unnecessarily complex the whole process was. Good luck to all of us in this journey.

    Well, I guess it is moving forward maybe but I was hoping they would waive the interview.

    My wife has just received a duplicate I-797 NOA, basically the same travel extension latter we got about a year ago. Is that normal? Does it mean anything?

    That is pretty fast. Were you applying from the UK in the cases you mentioned?

    I filled Jan 1st and only got the biometrics waived recently. Soooo slow. Now 22 days is insane, I am also happy for them but are they trying to drive people that are waiting crazy? It is difficult to make sense of it. I don't think there is an experimental batch or anything like that - it is just the law of entropy at work. Go figure.

    I have a very similar timeline and I got the letter in the mail waiving biometrics on July 14th as well. I hope they pick up the pace now.
