Anxious about having participated in green card lottery

Hello!

Just want to preface this by saying that I am in a state right now where I'm being overly anxious and stressed about everything regarding this process. Definitely having a bad day when it comes to all of this.

As the title suggests, I'm experiencing some pretty heavy anxiety about the fact that I have participated in a green card lottery before filing for my k1. As a matter of fact I think I participated in the lottery approximately a month before applying for my then k1. The reason for this was that I had just proposed to my then girlfriend and now wife and I really wanted to come up with a way that I wouldn't have to say bye to her at the time. It was an irrational decision that I made in an emotional state (much like right now lol)

We are currently waiting for our AOS interview, already gone through biometrics and just in a waiting period right now. Does anyone have any similar experiences, whether or not this can be an issue down the road? I hadn't put much thought into this until now. This has never been brought up in our process so far.

Thank you for anyone who takes their time to respond, I hope you all have a great weekend.

Can you explain to us why you are so worried about this? This is not an issue at all, it will have 0 impact on this process or the processes to come.

Did you lie on the DV application form.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

No i did not

So what are you concerned about? Difficult to answer without knowing the reason.

Just the fact i partook in it. But as it appears I think I am just overanalyzing situations too much and getting myself worked up for nothing. Thanks for your comment as well as others as well.

I suppose one of the things that worried me about this ia that we have never mentioned me partaking in it. I dont remember a specific section where it would have been asked of us in the process but I could definitely be wrong.

You applied for the visa lottery and then later K-1 and got married now AOS.  Nothing wrong with anything you have done, so no need to worry unless you have something to hide that might come up in the AOS interview.  If you have been completely honest through your entire process, and your current relationship is bona fide, you don't have anything to worry about so relax and good luck!
