Hi,

Is it possible for parents to enter America on a  Canadian passport after their I-130 petition is approved filed by their American citizen son?. Can they face hard time or it can be smooth entry?. Parents have already entered  and exited before on a visa and Canadian passport and exited in required time. Thank you all in advance for your time and efforts.

Possible? Yes. Also, scrutiny, Yes.. due to the i130.

Hopefully they enter and exit, and there is no intent to Adjust Status. Would they be interviewing for IR5 in Canada?

Also, members had some queries you opted not to respond to in your previous thread

Of course it’s possible, and if by “hard time” you mean will cbp officers be particularly interested in all the proof of your ties to return to Canada after your visit, then yes.

Re-reading previous thread, surprised no one mentioned the healthcare cost issue, which usually comes up both in parent sponsor threads (especially where joint sponsor required) and Canada-to-US threads.
