hello i have a question my F2B petition i-130 was approved by uscis in june 2015 and i received my I-797. The notice said they have forwarded my case to NVC and it has been 4 years  i still have not received anything from NVC, no case number nothing. Please Help i don't know if its normal because the priority date is not current yet.

If the Priority Date (PD) is not current then they won't actually schedule an interview, and the embassy/consulate cannot issue the visa.*

Once the PD is at or after the Dates For Filing (Chart B), NVC will contact you to allow you to start submitting documents.

Actually, once the date on chart B reaches your priority date, you should periodically email the NVC at NVCInquiry@state.gov. They will email you back whether or not you can start submitting documents. If you can, they will issue you a case number and an invoice ID number.
