Hello guys update. My husband had interview today. I did go to the interview with him and was allowed in the shuttle but not inside the embassy. There were a lot of petitioners there with spouse or parents but were not allowed inside. they didn’t ask him much questions only a few questions about where I live and about our son. My husband took our passports with him. They only checked our original birth certificates and marriage certificates. he was told by the counselor it’s approved and he’ll receive his passport in two weeks. online it says AP processing I hope it’s not one of those lengthy process.

You just need to update your i864 and if you had a joint sponsor they also need to update i864 update tax return transcript and w2, paystubs or employment verification letter.

My domicile has not changed. I still live there I’m only here for visit. I have health insurance car insurance everything active. my brother in law will be combining his income with his wife my sister (joint sponsor). My husband is the applicant.

They are married. Plus her income is good enough on her own but since ge got a job and it will make the total household income more that’s why I asked. The only problem is they have not filed taxes together yet as he just moved there and got ssn etc.

I have a few questions. My husband interview is coming up next month. I’m in Pakistan with my husband and our baby. I been here since the last three months. I left my job in September. My sister will be my joint sponsor and her husband will complete i864A. 1. They have not filed taxes together yet, husband just moved to US and got a job? 2. I had good income in the last few years but currently not working will that affect our chances of him getting a visa? 2. Is 41000 good income for a joint sponsor, her husband and my husband? If the joint sponsor’s husband never filed taxes what documents should he provide with i864A? again her husband just moved to the US last month and got a part time job and is willing to combine income with wife to sponsor my husband.

received my interview letter finally. Alhumdullah. Dq may 19 22. Interview is on Feb 7. My question is I have not filed my tax and would not be able to by the time interview comes should I just upload 2023 W2 and bring to the interview? And update i864?

Did you divorce decree had any gold seals or just stamp? I didn’t get original because they said you only get certified copies in California. It’s the two forms you get from county when everything is finished.

Question everyone. With the current interviews appointment rate hopefully my husband will get his interview in February inshaallah. I wont be able to file tax by then for 2023 would that cause a problem. Should he just take W2 for 2023 to his interview. Or do you guys think they’ll ask for 2023 tax to be filed?

Same they used my divorce decree as proof and change my status on my nadra marriage certificate. I only have marriage certificate from nadra and wondering if I need anything else.

It took place in Pakistan but was never registered with nadra back then it was only Urdu nikah nama and English translation

Did you submit the divorce decree issued by county court. They gave me a certified copy not the original? How did you get original dose it have gold seal?

Guys question anyone who made FRC did how did you guys add a US born child to your FRC. Nadra In pakistan won’t add my son to our FRC until he is issued a Pakistani birth certificate and to get a Pakistani birth certificate we have to give them original US birth certificate. Any tips are appreciated

I’m in the same boat. Planing on going to Pakistan with my two months old and staying there until hubby gets his visa. It’s a show.

Do I need the original Form DS-3053: "Statement of Consent" or my overseas spouse can scan and email it to me for our son passport. My husband is in Pakistan and will notirize the consent form at US consulate in Islamabad. I’m just wondering once that’s done can he scan and email it to me to submit with our newborn passport application or dose he needs to mail the original. The passport is kind of urgent.

its not required but i know someone who was still asked for it, so we got it ready just in case. Dont want to get stuck in AP.

I would 100% take the updated documents to the interview, especially I864, Tax transcript, W2 and police certificate. I would not upload them to CEAC until they ask me to do it after the interview.
