Dear friends... i need another information from you. I'm sure is a simple one, but i don't know it :)

so... what is exactly the list of docs that are necessary for the package to be sent after approval ?! I don't want to lose any second after approval. I estimate it in late November, early December. Thank you in advance for everything.

:(( no one wanna help me? plzzzzz... :D

Thank you Torito baby!!! I'm not exactly sure but, police reports need to be completed, the medical exams with the appropriate

injections. This is what I can think of at the top of my head.

There are a few places you can check out exactly what you need for the first packet....but from what I understand, you'll need the I-184 affidavit of support (best to have it filled out and the money order for $70 ready for when they send you the NVC approval notice). Then you can check out http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3176.html

and find out exactly what will be needed from your country. After that, it's pretty much a simple process of getting the all the forms and the visa application to the embassy, and then waiting....this site also shows exactly what vaccinations will be required before you go for the medical examination. Just click on the link at the bottom of the first webpage, where it says "download all immigration documents" or something like that. By the way, try and get all the vaccinations and certifications done now, don't wait until your NOA2. You might want to wait, depending on how long a background check certificate is valid for, to get your police check, but other than that you can fill out all the paperwork ahead of time and have it ready to send in once you have your codes. Jame's shortcuts refer to the process, take a look around visajourney and find out more about them. Hope this helps!

Sorry for the double post. You may notice that my filed for has changed to IR1/CR1. My wife and I have decided to pursue the CR1 visa the way our visa journey has been going. Please accept my apologies as I am currently unable to edit my timeline. I keep getting an error that I have duplicate timelines and to contact an admin. Several attempts at contacting an admin have failed. I will continue to update by post as I see there are a few of us here on the board that have decided to go the IR1/CR1 route. *sighs* at least we're moving forward :dead::bonk::yes: As always a speedy journey for all of us.

Not sure if anyone is still keeping a tally but I just got approved today! It seems to be true that they aregoing by I130 and approving simultaneously.

At what point is getting a senator involved actually advisable? We're already at 193 days from priority date on the I130 :(

Congrats to the most recent approvals in here!!

I say screw it. I'm contacting my congressman tomorrow. What's the worst thing they can say? No? At least I will have tried. I'm sick of sitting here waiting helplessly. I don't know what criteria the congressmen look for before intervening. I'll let them tell me its not at that point yet if that's the way it is. We paid for the USCIS to review our forms, we sent them our personal documents, we also pay the salary of the congressman and yet here we sit waiting for our spouses and parents of our children (in some cases) while temporary workers get the red carpet treatment. Sharing nothing but the sun and the moon (not even at the same time) with my husband is getting a little thin in the comfort department. It's time to bring our husbands and wives home.

Does the congressman's office care how long its been? Does there have to be a special problem with the case? If I ask them to try to get more information than I can get will that push my case up to be a Congressional Inquiry and scoot it to the top of the pile? I don't want to jump ahead of anyone at all. But plenty of people who applied after me have already been approved. "We process them in the order in which they were rec'd" is a load of #######.

I have to try something... ANYTHING.. to end this. If they tell me no and I have to wait then i'll be back in the same boat i'm in right now. In my opinion, C&J.. just do it. Make the call.

Congrats. 1 day off the table estimate for I-130 and 5 days off the I-129F est... hope they keep it up... The table is sorted by I-129F NOA2 column so look for 5/29

Let me know who i have missed... The approval in Red indicates that it has not been updated with the date the actual NOA 2 notice was received in the mail.
