For the petitioner's letter of intent required for the interview, does anyone know who that letter should be addressed to?  I assume not USCIS like the I-129F one was...

Does anyone know does a basic "tetanus" shot is the same as "Tdap"?

Nope they are different and they won't accept just tetanus.

Thanks :) Got it figured out finally and have confirmation in hand!! Does the approval expiry date not necessarily mean anything then?? We were thinking of a July wedding...giving a couple month leeway in case of delays after the interview.

Also...I've been researching, but not finding...how do I go about paying the fee and booking the interview...Or should I just wait until they've sent the package 3? Thanks!

Seriously don't pay for anything for July or anytime. It's not worth the risk. One of my pals from April filers has been stuck in AP in the UK for over a month and it affected their wedding plans and some other stuff. This is the Golden rule of K1 visa. No plans until visa in hand.

Approval expiry extension is up to the officer at the interview. If it expires before you get to the booking interview stage you are fine (I.e. you haven't received P4 or no interviews are available). But personal delays past the expiry date are totally up to officer.

You can't pay the fee and book the interview until after you are formally invited to via packet 4. Once you have P4 you will be sent to a new website where you pay the fee, book courier, and book interview. Once you get P4, interview dates are about 5 weeks out.

@MeghanK

Thanks for giving us the information about P4!! It's nice to know the process in advance.

But what you said about not planning for the wedding... well my fiancé and I are taking a big risk... we already have everything paid and planned for our wedding on August 3rd this summer.

(Though luckily everything we paid for, they said we have the option to change the date).

We're just putting positive vibes out there that everything will work out in our favor! 😊🤞

Hey all! I'm sure this is covered somewhere on here but i cannot find it. Do i need to have the snail mail version of the P4 invite to book an interview or will a print out of the P4 email do? I also need my d-160 confirmation, and the payment receipt from the interview booking site, right?

Did you get a snail mail version of P4? I don't think we did. And yes both the DS-160 conf (the one with the photo on it), and payment receipt.

I got just the 'tetanus shot' in December in preparation for my medical. I got the TDap though in 2007, so that tetanus shot is the 10-year booster. Unless my doc doesn't know what he's doing ... 😕

Yeah if you have had the Tdap previously you are good. Though I don't know whether or not the booster is required for immigration. I haven't seen that explicitly anywhere.

I never got a snail mail version of my P4; I booked everything based on the email.

There is no snail mail P4

I just got the flu shot this week (my arm still hurts 😂) and the nurse was able to give me a full record of my past immunizations.

Turns out I'm missing Hepatitis A and B shots.... does anyone know if this is actually required for the visa?

Thanks in advance!! 😊

Not unless you have unique health circumstances that would indicate a need for them... (you'd probably know if this were your case)
