Hello everyone I am the fiancee of an army colonel. We lived in Panama, but he has been transferred to DC. Do you think I can apply for an accelerated request? Thanks

Oh no, honey. Immigration doesn't care about your spouse's rank.

You have NO base for expedite.  There is no special privileges for army spouses.

He isn't deploying. He is just getting a new duty station.

His change has been ordered by the defense department.  he's not going to a military base. But it's still an order

Your timeline is really long for an expedite? You've got the NOA2 in almost 3 months not 2 weeks? I mean we've expedited the NOA1... so I want to know how long it will take to get the NOA2..  surely not two weeks? Let me know!! Thanks for the reply! You're the only one I've found on this topic

Expedites can take a few months.  A normal case is 6 to 9.  If they do it in 3 it is twice as fast.  The Government doesn't work a whole lot faster than that!

Only active deployment has worked in the past.  Orders weren't enough.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

Yes all duty stations are ordered by the defense department.

Still no base for expedite.

Expedite is only possible if it's a deployment. As ex. To Afganistan.
