Hello guys,

I need some help, I am getting my package in order to send to my fiance  once we are ready and I have a question. I made color copies of all of the package and scanned it to my computer before sending it off, do any of you know if I need to send new and original with current dates of the following, or if a copy of the exact same file paperwork as submitted initially?

-Divorce Decree (I have an original one which I got an extra copy of when I went to the court, it's notarized and signed as original with a date of dated Feb 2018)

-Intent to Marry Letter

-Any court related documents with notary , same as divorce paper

And lastly, do I need to submit the pictures and chats exactly as I did with the package?

Thank you all in advance for your help.

Divorce decree and court related documents I would send certified copies to your fiancé. Also since this is Morocco I would send pictures and chats as well.

My question is mostly about the date on my certified copy, its from last year when I went to the court, is that fine or should I provide a new certified one but with a current date?

As long as it is a certified copy with the seal you will be fine.

Hello, i don't know if K1 are like CR1 when talking about docs, all i can say is your fiancee have to have the exact same file you guys submitted on NVC, the exact same docs which also means you submitted originals she/he needs to have with,  The copy of our Marriage certificate was outdated (more than 1year) but the consular officer took it !

missing docs will just delay the issuance of your visa! and i can say waiting for ceac to mark "issued" looks like waiting for the first USCIS approval :D :D

Best of luck incha Allah

they don't submit for K1 but if one was submitted for the application,  it needs to match exactly what is shown at interview

any differences will be noted by CO and 221g for additional documents needed to match will be given

So I submit the same documents ? I have the exact same copy of divorce paper original notified as other court documents, do I make copies of the whole package only or add those two same docs but original?

We had to have all originals for the interview but that was 2015

hope things have gotten easier and they accept copies

but we did get  everything back when approved
