Hello! I need advice. So I got an email from nvc with my case number stating that my petition will now be forwarded to the consulate in nigeria. I received this in the 8th of January 2019. I need to know if the interview letter will be sent by email or to my home address.

Please any useful information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

interview dates are not booked automatically for you.

You'll need to book the interview yourself by using the case# on that NVC email you received and fill out the DS-160, pay the embassy fee, print the confirmation page, then select your interview date from those that are available.

Interview date finish very quickly so the moment a date become available take whatever you see. There also 50+ people waiting for interview dates so act quick

embassy fee is the same as the visa fee. You won't be able to book an interview date without filling out the DS-160 and pay the $265

Where are you going? no US embassy in any country allows walk-ins. your not gonna make it past the entrance. you need to fill out the DS-160 online, pay the $265 online and book the interview date online. in front of the same computer that your using to  respond to me

@kingdomcome84Oh good morning I was planning to go to gtb bank to pay for the visa fee. I already have the ds-160 filled already. I've created a profile on ustraveldoc site and I got to the point where the bank code was requested for me to schedule an interview date. I don't have the code because I haven't paid yet for it. I'll do that this morning. In listing my visa category for my k1 should it be immigrant or non immigrant?

For K-1 interview? If so use NVC case number to set up medical at St Lukes. Collect documents (NBI clearance, CENOMAR, birth certificate, ect) and once CEAC says "Ready for interview" can set up interview date and pay for it.

Also will have to complete CFO.

Hi.  My fiance just booked his interview for Nigeria.  There were no February appointments available.  We got a March slot but I believe all that was left was April unless someone cancels.

@Ben&Zianhas  answered it. Your case needs to be ready before you can go ahead to pay the visa fee the schedule for your interview date after creating a profile on ustraveldoc website. You will need the bank code to schedule for interview. Check the ceac

Wow! April? That's so far long. We're hoping to have our wedding in march. I hope a slot opens for us
