Got a case received for 129F on November 20th 2018.  and it still hasn't been approved.  When is a good time to start calling them to see whats going on?

You need to be prepared for a 6-8 month wait. Nothing in this process is fast.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Way too early; less than 50 days have passed. Takes around 300 days: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/stats.php?cfl= And can't complain until after ~8 months: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Keep in mind that the whole process can take up to a year.

You probably won't hear anything back from USCIS until May or June.

Really??  You've got awhile to go!  Ours was 185 days from NOA1, and that was quick.

2 months?!? People wish it would be that fast.

K1 can take up to a year. Give it another two or three months before it gets approved. Keep in mind that you can get an RFE if documents are missing.
