Comments : We had our appointment at 10am. We got there a little early and the interviews started on time, so, there is no real benefit to getting there too early. We were called to a room with two ladies, one who was conducting the interview, the other seemed to be supervising or observing. They asked us where we met and what attracted us to each other. My fiancé just said I was pretty, lol. I think he took the question literally that he thought I was pretty when he first saw me. They asked my fiancé if he intended to work, but I think that was because we said he was taking college classes right now.

They looked at a couple pieces of evidence but didn't really seem to want much of the stuff I was offering. I showed some credit card bills that had both our cards on it, our ymca membership, a car title and car insurance, certificate for premarital counseling. They looked at our passports, drivers licenses and official birth certificates. They didn't take any copies of them or the marriage license. They looked at pictures but didn't ask any questions, we didn't have any wedding pictures.

In the end they asked him all the questions about crimes and told us they would send us a letter. The supervisor lady said that we need to continue to collect evidence for the next green card interview in a few years. I asked if we were approved and the lady just said have a nice day. We were kind of anxious about it but the next day we looked on the uscis website, the one that you actually sign into, and it said approved since the day before. The generic website where you just enter the case number still shows interview scheduled.

Overall good experience, fast interview and everyone was nice.

Consulate Review: Trinidad & Tobago
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : May 13, 2019
Embassy Review : My fiance said had an appointment at 9 am but they began calling everyone in at around 8:30am. He met with a lady that took the documents and organized them and then was called shortly after to a window to talk to a consulate officer. He asked where we met, how many times I visited, where I work, If either of us have children or have been married, what he likes about me, what will be the hardest thing about moving to the US and possibly a few other things, but I can't recall. He said that everyone was more or less friendly. He said the the officer was serious, but not unfriendly. He was approved and told his passport would be delivered in about two weeks.

Rating : Very Good

Sigh, This caribbean timeline is giving me hope :) I noticed you got approved in 4 months and 1 day. My fiancé is from the Bahamas, we filed in February 2019 and have yet to receive any update other than "Case was received" I know each case is different but comparing our timelines together, the 4 months and 1 day for us would be June 20th 2019. Congrats on your approval though! Wish you all then best. This is an insane process!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
