Hello,

Does anybody knows the average for a 221(g) to be processed, child birth certificated was requested and was not available at the interview.

also,

What are the approve/denial chances with a 221(g)

Thanks

Van Der

AP is a black hole to say the least it could be days, weeks, months, years....all you can do is wait it out, and there is nothing that can be done to move it faster.

Good luck.

221g is an additional document request.   No conclusion can be drawn because the decision is based on the entire application

YMMV

For a missing birth certificate?  They'll probably process the visa as soon as they get the missing document.

The cos processes 221g in there non scheduled window time.  It all depends on how many are on the cos desk in front of you.   Typically weeks not months.

YMMV

After sending the missing document (child birth certificate on K1 visa) and passport directly to consulate,  visa was ISSUED.

Thanks for the support!
