Hello everyone,

how long will it take to be notified or get an update on uscis website after my reciept date is due ?Thank you

Expect around 7 to 8 months in case you get no RFE--Mine was approved with 12 months but i had RFE and NOID as well.

It's important to note that NOA2 means "Notice of Action 2".  Sometimes the second notice of action is an RFE.  Sometimes it''s a DENIAL.  Usually, it's an APPROVAL notice.

So if the 2nd NOA becomes RFE, what will the approval be? NOA3 or another NOA2

Whichever number it is.  The last "Notice of Action" you are looking for is a notice of approval.  It doesn't matter whether it's the second, third, fourth, etc.  The question is about timing.  If the second notice is an RFE, the timing of it will be the same as it would be if they could have approved without an RFE.
