Same here. My fiance got a text message from USCIS with the receipt number but the check has not yet been cashed.

My fiancee told me that they cashed the cheque yesterday. No mention of a text message though.

Typical response for receipt is within the 2-4 week time period following the submittal and check cashing. Your submittal is going as planned and is normal. Nothing to worry about.

 

Can each of you help us out. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. Just a nervous question..my check did not have a memo section to write my reason for the filing fee with the petition. I am wondering if it will be rejected?. I placed it in a seperate envelope...wrote "i-29f" fee on the envelope...2 hole punched it and attached on top of my cover letter. Any thoughts? I see most people received texts yesterday for petitions delivered on 12/27 and mine was delivered on 12/28 and no text yesterday.

Did you include the https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/g-1145.pdf?download=1 with your filing of the I-129f?

No it will not be rejected. The way you processed your check is fine.
