Poker Player Is Staying in a Dark Bathroom for 30 Days on a $100K Bet

Can he do it? And is it something that you can do?

I think I could do it ---

To win $100,000, pro poker player Rich Alati doesn’t have to go all-in, he just can’t come out of a dark bathroom for 30 days.

On November 21, Alati entered the room in an “undisclosed location somewhere in Las Vegas” on November 21 and he is still inside, according toPocketFives.

In the room, Alati has a toilet, shower, refrigerator, and a bed as well as supplies like sliced fruit, almond milk, cereal, and Pop Tarts. He is also getting meals delivered to him, but not on a regular basis so his sense of time is altered.

“The conditions are complete darkness, so no electronics, no light-emitting devices, no drugs of any kind,” said Young. “He is allowed any type of food that he wants. He has a bed in there, he has a shower and a bathtub. He has pretty lavish toiletries like Epsom salts, sugar scrubs, that kind of stuff.”

Toilet bed and refrigerator in there? Easy!! That's all most guys need. That's 3/4 of the ideal man cave. Silly bet for whoever bet against him.

Getting used to the dark would be the only hard part for some people, but I'd get used to it PDQ for 100K.

After 30 days, there wouldn't be any permanent damage, but the production of photopigment and neurochemicals that control the pupil reflex would eventually stop. You would need to wear sunglasses for a while after leaving the room, or it would be extremely bright. Like having your pupils dilated for an eye exam.

This is either old new or a copy cat,  We had a guy do the same thing about 20 years ago.  He is also the same guy who won a bet by having breast implants as well.

I had a neck xray work up this week. Tech said my implants blocked a shot and to take the film over

Without reading which poker player it is, I would have guessed it was Justin Schwartz.  Nobody could use an entire month locked in a bathroom more than this guy...
