Would being in the US on a B2 visa interfere with K1 Visa process?

My fiancé and I are about to send off the i129f packet, and he is currently in Ireland and I in America, and we are miserable apart. If we send off the packet, then apply for a b2 visa for him to stay with me for the duration of waiting for the NOA etc., would the B2 interfere with anything, if anyone knows? Would it interfere with anything on the i129f? Would we go somewhere in America instead for the interview and medical process? Thank you so much for your help in advance! I apologize for so many questions.

being miserable apart is part of the process 😕

you can apply for B2 but it likely wouldnt be approved with a pending K1, but its possible, especially since Ireland is a low fraud country. For k1, The interview and medical and all that HAS to be done in his country of permanent residency, it can't be done here.

I thought Irish citizens don’t need a B2 visa to visit the US? Unless your fiancé(e) isn’t a UK citizen?

The process, with its current time is taking 9-12 months to process so even with a B2 visa, your visa wouldn’t be able to stay for the whole time with you. Plus, your fiancé has to complete the process in his/her country.
