Hello! New to this forum. Just wanted to update everyone that i shipped the packaged on October 3rd 2018 -- Received date is October 5th 2018. Got text message about the Receipt number on October 11th. Received the I-797C on October 15th in the mail.

 

Here's to a long journey. I will be visit my Fiancee in December for about 3 weeks so that will be nice.

We need help , We got the hard copy for NOA1 in mail, but they dont have my fullname on there as beneficiary , i mean they skip my middle name. Should we leave it like that? Should we call the USCIS to notify them ?

New reason for concern. As long as your I-129f has the proper name you'll be fine.

Hi everyone!

 

We filed on Tuesday 09th, it arrived in Dallas on Thursday 11th, picked up on the 12th.

We just received our G-1145 text/email. Waiting on NOA1 now

Hi! Thanks for this group. Our I-129f was delivered today! Fingers crossed and waiting for a speedy next two steps. Anyone know about current times when your fiancé lives in South Africa? I haven’t seen much coming from there on the web.

It doesn’t really matter where your partner lives. It’ll take around 5.5-7.5 months to get your NOA2. NOA1 times are averaging around a week. 

 

its gonna be a long process. Just enjoy it

I have two questions. What "current times" are you referring to? And What's not coming out of SA?

 

BTW. This is not going to be speedy. You won't see your approval for at least 6-7 months.

I understand the wait times.. I’m being optimistic. I was referring about South African visa approval rates in general. Is it listed as one of the higher risk countries?

I can't say for sure what the individual wait times are for any given Embassy. But if you go over to this thread and ask your question, I guarantee you will get and answer and if you hang out long enough you'll learn many more tidbits about SA Embassy.

I sent my package October 16 through Fedex Express and got there October 17 hopefully get the NOA1 soon.
