I am looking for jobs that I can apply for and usually find this in the requirement:

"Foreign transcripts and degrees require official certification of equivalency to U.S. transcripts and degrees by a certified U.S. review service at the time of application."

I am from Manila, Philippines and will migrate to Los Angeles.  Do you have recommendations on where I can certify my college degree from Philippines to that it can be accepted for US employment? Thank you.

My Filipina wife used ECE https://www.ece.org/ECE to certify her high school and college transcripts for getting into her nursing program here.

They were a pretty quick turnaround.

Philippines in general is okay for cross over to the US degree and schooling wise. Now, depending on what level exactly of degree, or specific job, the US (employer or say new institution) could request one or two extra courses to ensure you met the US equivalency; but generally from people I've known, to include my husband now, most cross over just fine.

Now that being said, each state can vary depending on your field; and you may need to do specific state by state level exams for certifications if you're in the medical field let's say... but that is how it is for everyone so.

Thank you for your responses, that is relieving to know.  I am a graduate of BS ECE but took IT as a profession.  Looks like I just need to bring all my Certificate of Employment, and have my Diploma and TOR certified if required by employer.

I had my Transcript authenticated from Philippines (red ribbon) before migrating. NEVER get to used it.

It wasn't sought for too when I applied for a job.

The only time I needed my transcript was when I applied for my Masters. The red ribboned TOR was of no good. I had to have authenticated with accredited agencies as partnered by the school. For my case, i had it authenticated via FCSA. Link:http://foreigncredentials.org/

Graduated BS Computer Engineering, University of Cebu Philippines. Working in IT Industry as well.
