Some people get denied with the CR-1 as well, there is no guarantee of an approval because you do a CR-1 instead of a K-1.

Main thing is proof of a bonafide relationship/marriage, more face-time (meeting in person) always helps.

Age difference with the female being the older one may raise a bit of scrutiny, considering your country of origin.

Hello,

With Casablanca there are never any guarantees, k1 or cr1, they can both be denied. I suggest a couple of things; wait until a fourth trip to marry, marrying after 8 months and petitioning for a cr1 will seem odd to the consule. The more trips between first meeting and petitioning will be more beneficial for you in the long haul. A few other pointers would be; take alot of pictures with her and your family, especially your mother, gave her bring one of her children if possible as it will seem odd that she';s marrying there without any family present. Can she have children? This will more than likely cause some questions to come up, also the age difference so be prepared to answer on that. The more time together, pictures, chats , PROOF the better the chances. Ultimately, she will need to get a job, it doesn't matter if she lives with her mom so long as her income is what it needs to be, I believe that a co-sponsor could help but the main point would be her being able to support you. No offense but if she can't support her kids, what makes you think the consule would approve that scenario. Again, this is my opinion and I am not being harsh in any way, I am just going based on what you said . So,

-Wait a bit longer

-She needs a job, living with her mom is not a problem but she needs to make the minimum requirement to be able to support her family or co-sponsor. What do you mean by, not an alien?

-Lots of proof of a bonafide relationship

-Have her bring her children or family to the wedding if at all possible

-Try to minimize the red flags as much as possible

This is just my opinion , no one here can tell you what to do or not to do. It's a long and stressful journey, make sure the love is there because I will tell you, the distance and stress can definitely destroy it all if the relationship is on a faulty foundation.

as said above,  all is true

she needs a job and to have the 125% poverty income for all that live with her (mom included if she supports her)

8 months knowing each other is not enough to pass interview in casa

get ready for a hard journey for all your red flags

no job

decision to marry is fast

she is older

they will question how she is able to afford the trips without a job

no chance here for K1

little chance at this stage for visa for CR1

take some time

get to know each other and her children

get a job

The circumstances of your case fit a common fraud profile for your area of the world.  This can be overcome only with evidence of time spent together actually living as husband and wife.  The number of visits is not as important as the length of total time together.  Make the marriage trip as long as possible.  She's not working and after marriage, you'll be able to live together.

You also have a sponsorship issue that needs to be dealt with effectively.

The circumstances combining, 1. she's older, it's Morocco, and she's low or no income, all combine to work against you.  Consular Officers make visa decisions and they are fully aware of local customs and the kinds of immigration fraud common to your area.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
Understanding the big picture is priceless. Anonymous
