Hi Everyone,

My application was received on 09/06/2018 at CA center. The check was cashed on 09/27/2018 at Chicago office right after one day my green card expired.

I haven’t heard any from them since then. I just called the support center and they said their in no information about my application on the system. I tried to get the receipt number. They said they summit a request for them to get my receipt number. I need to wait couple hours to call back. I don’t know what is going on here. Anything would help!

Just called USCIS and they are not able to help either. Apparently they have 2 systems and one system shows  the same info we see on Dhs and the second system doesn't return any results. So basically they see what we see.

They told me to wait 30 days since the date my case was registered and then call them back again. They will file a service request which will also take 30 days to process.

Don't know what is going on with our cases (seems to affect applicants who sent their paperwork mid August through end of August) but feels like we are in some kind of limbo

I called last week and they told me the same and to call back in a week. Looks like there is no point in calling this week based on what they told you 😕 We have similar timeline , received 9/4, check cashed on 9/27 and they have no receipt number -_-

At least you are able to see something. Mine only show up on the Dhs site but not on the uscis.

What is dhs site? Do you mean https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/? Are you not able to see your status here https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do?

Mine start with src. I managed to get an infopass in Dallas as Houston is no where to be found, have been trying for past 2 weeks. Look like 4 hrs road trip up to get a stamp and another 4 to get back.

Same situation here, hope the NOA1 will get here before then,  not super thrilled to spend 8-9 hours driving and miss work :(

It's bugging me, my card doesn't expire until mid next month but they were quick enough to cash the payment but have not even had the decency to send a letter or provide any sort of update. Feel like everyone has been left in limbo it's a joke.

I called USCIS today again since it's two month since they got the case (we send it 08/14/2018, they got it 08/17/2018, and the check was cashed 10/01/2018).

Very sweet and kind lady told a lot about delays, gave me the receipt number and told me that the extended letter for 18 month was send 10/02/2018 - but of course, we still didn't get anything.

Well, now I'm curious when the case will be seen on USCIS site.

Interesting! Letter was "sent" one day after your check was cashed, but still nothing in the mail. I wonder why the mix up with the physical letter itself! How frustrating!

ROC  (pending)

  • 8/14/18: Mailed to CSC
  • 9/26/18: Check cashed in AZ
  • 10/23/18: NOA1
  • x/xx/1x: Biometrics
  • 2019: Traveled with extension letter without problems

Cash was checked on 09/24 in Phoenix... still no NOA... and what's bugging me is that there's still no record of our case number / receipt number when I try to check online for the case status. I'm assuming others have this problem too?

I check using two USCIS sites.

1) This one does not recognize my case number. https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

2) This one recognizes my case number, but gives me no information other than "we have received your case". https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

I don't know if there are additional online resources other than those above.

I'm really frustrated with the lack of other communication. I'm saving my phone call for later...
