welcome to this side of the coin, its a much shorter wait on this side, typically about two week to get your case number from NVC and then it has to be sent to the embassy.

Yes, we are waiting for the case number and then for it to be sent to your embassy, once the status changes to ready, you can fill out the DS-160, pay the visa fee, book your medical check up and schedule your interview.

i called just out of curiosity and nothing yet...its still early and on their end they say to wait up to 6 weeks.. next Thursday ill make my call again lol

My NOA2 was July 30, i have been calling all week and nothing yet. I will call monday, tuesday and wednesday of next week and if i get my case number next week my packet might be sent out on the 21 of August to the Embassy!! i am super excited. Any one else with a july 30 or 31 NOA2?

For those of us that will be doing the interview in Manila, Philippines.  Is now a good time to be getting the CENOMAR and the NBI police clearance while we are waiting on the NVC MNL case #?
