It seems like the VJ timeline is not accurate on this one. According to processing times, I should have had NVC received 09/13. Given it was Labour Day I was hoping for today. 

Our NOA2 was approved 08/16 according to new website. The NOA2 hardcopy date is 08/15.

Called NVC twice today and they have not received it. The VJ timeline search shows quite a few people (assuming that they did not forget to update their timelines) without an NVC received.

We just got our case number!   NOA2: 7th August NVC received: 21st August  Case number assigned: 22nd August   😊

hmmm...Hopefully, you will get yours soon.  I know it only took me 14 calendar days and some others as well.  However, I have seen it take longer for some folks as I think the NVC has to some AP with some cases.  You should have yours anyday now I would think.

You can never really say accurate as some case like mine took 25 days from NOA2 to have our case number. It will get there.

mine was " at NVC " for a long while. i got my NOA2 July 30 and barely now it was sent to the embassy. if your doesnt get sent today then you'll most likely get mailed by the next batch ( september 18)

Yeah, I know, I'm not worried about that, as I am even able to schedule my medical without the case #.  I was just trying to point out that the wait time might be longer than people expect when looking at the current processing times here on VJ.

I have an 8/14 noa2. As of this morning still not received at nvc yet.
