Receive my receipt notice in June 2017 

Did my Biometrics in JULY 2017 

Got my Prima Facie in December 2017, June 2018.

Also got my EAD Aug 2017, and July 2018

Card production Oct 23 2018. Recieved EAD C31  Oct 30.  

Recieved update Nov 2 2018 my Vawa has approved. 

I didn't recieved any RFE. 

Is it a possibility that they can send my GC without me going for a interview?

 

what was the abuse like, if abuse is very clear they may not call you for intw. Approximately in how many days did you receive your first EAD after biometrics?

Please don’t give out false information. The I-485 interview has nothing to do with the abuse/VAWA. They aren’t even allowed to ask about the abuse. It is just a standard interview that goes over the questions on the I-485 form. It is not dependent on the evidence submitted for I-360. 

As Sandra stated previously. In her 20 years of filing VAWA petitions she has only ever seen 4 people not get an interview out of the thousands of people she has helped.

Yes you are approved but you will still receive an official approval notice for your I-360. Then you will receive an update on your I-485 that it is transferred. Let’s just assume that happens this month. The St Albans local office currently takes 10 months to adjudicate I-485, you should expect an interview around September 2019.

My approval is august and my local office is Miami pls when do you think my interview could be Thanks.

you can check here. Miami is currently taking 13 months. If your I-360 got approved in August 2018, you should expect the interview to be in September 2019 but you can always get lucky and get an interview earlier. Just prepare for the longer time and hope for a shorter time. 

 

My local office said 12 months but I had my interview after 5 months. No idea why it happened to fast.

Did you submit I-693 together with I485? I never sent I693 before then local office sent me Courtesy letter to require this medical record.

No I never sent I-693 because I knew the wait would be more than a year. I only brought it to the interview.

They might issue the NTA because the officer who denied the AOS doesn't know the person has another I-485 pending. I suggest if anyone here had the AOS denied to write to the local office where the AOS was denied and ask them not to issue the NTA because a new AOS was filed and submit VAWA and AOS  receipts.

The abuse was horrendous... mostly mentally for me and my children.. 

I had  EAD before my second biometric because we had file for my green card when we were married.. i also had a interview with him but while waiting on the decision from Uscsi thats when he went and canceled the paperwork .

Thank you for this response that many vawa applicants have been waiting for long. But are you sure by writing uscis won’t wake the sleeping dog? I mean for those Aos that was denied longtime ago and no Nta and it seems they have forgotten about us since we are not criminal. I’m just concerned about the risk of reminding uscis of your denial.

Very good question! I'll wait until sandranj can answer that question before asking my attorney to send a letter to NBC requesting that they stop a deportation process start since I have a new I-485 pending approval based on Vawa.

Hi everyone! So I received an RFE for bonafide marriage and good conduct. I was actually waiting an RFE for the abuse because we didn’t send my psychological evaluation yet. So if my lawyer sends all the evidence needed for the bonafide marriage, can she just inlcude the psychological evaluation or just wait for another RFE for the abuse? She wants to wait until they send another RFE. But isn’t better if we just send it all together so they won’t have to send another RFE and probably delay my case? Any thoughts pls? @iwillsurvive @sandranj
