It’s classic Trump to be openly exasperated by the Group of 7’s hand-wringing hypocrisy. Unlike almost every other democratic leader, Mr. Trump doesn’t try to placate critics. He knows it’s more important to get things done than to be loved.

 

The holder of the world’s most significant office should always be taken seriously. Erratic and ill-disciplined though Mr. Trump often seems, there’s little doubt that he is proving a consequential president. On the evidence so far, when he says something, he means it—and when he says something consistently, it will happen.

Very good article, and Mr. Abbott hits on a lot of items that seems to be driving the Left mad and may be responsible for all the over-the-top responses we are seeing from them.  Trump appears to enjoy keeping his detractors spinning in their own hatred while he continues unraveling the Obama legacy and imparting his own.

For some reason, this one loaded for me.  Not sure why.  But I still refuse to pay for any “news”.  None of the sites that I have seen charging have anything that is of better substance than any other.

Have you, ever?  I don’t put much faith in any news source these days.  Only watch CNN or FOX if they happen to be on a TV I see in passing or while waiting.  Haven’t tuned in either on my TV in many years now.

But seriously... all we do here is commentary.  And it APPEARS pretty polar (minus a handful of whackos).  But I’d bet if you put 20 of us in a room together for a couple of hours, most of us would agree on most things, and most of us would aim more towards the middle than either fringe.  (At least I like to hope that’s so).
