I hate it when they used a minor time inaccuracy to terminate your employment. This indicates that your employer don't like you much. It's very unfair when you placed your loyalty with a company for a long time and then learned that you got terminated for a small inaccuracy. It should be a non-terminable offense, and a write up should be proper discipline for that. You're not destroying company property, stealing items, or using company time-theft. They are just looking for a reason to fire you. If you work for a fortune 500 company, you may contact HR at headquarters and they usually have this resolve with your management. If you received high pay from the company, it's better to fight for your position back.

btw, update, I got a job in another plant, now chicken lol.. not a stressing position as the one I had, but almost the same amount of money... now I can look for a better job withouth stressing myself.. I start next monday
