No appointment available for US visa interview

I'm trying from last week to get an appointment for my interview in Mumbai... But there is only one date available but that is out of my range, till thn my petition would be expire... Pls help me how can I get an early appointment... I'm really worried

Contact the embassy ?

Try checking the website early morning India time. I was able to get an earlier date when I looked early morning. If you are still unable to get an earlier date, contact the embassy and they can extend the expiration date of your petition.

Thanks ash, but I really don't want them to extend my petition, coz its in August.. Almost 2monts..really don't want that much wait 🙁..

Just keep checking the site, maybe someone will cancel or maybe they will open a spot. Just be aware that if you check too many times a day you can get locked out.

We had the same problem trying to schedule in Vietnam.  As the previous response said, check the website during the embassy's business hours.  I was getting up at 1am to check each night and was able to get someone's cancelled appointment. - Jason

OK , I just got the interview date but still it's too far, I have to wait for that time🙁 ..but still trying to reschedule wd closer one...  I assume,  I have to wake up midnight.. Lol

Did you transfer your case to Mumbai?

I didn't transfer, embassy already transferred my case to Mumbai...
