Hey Guys!!

So, My husband got his EAD in the mail last week and just got his SSN in the mail 3 days ago. We are so excited but nervous because a few minutes ago Case status for AOS says “my interviews was scheduled” OMG we are so nervous but happy because after a year of waiting, he finally got his EAD & now his interview :o

We haven’t actually gotten the letter in our hands about the interview but we are really nervous! Is there any one here who has had that in their case status for AOS? (FYI My husband came through the K1 visa) I’ve read other posts on here that theirs had “ready to schedule your Interview” or something like that. Can someone gives us a heads up on what to expect & take to the interview? U would really appreciate it :) I will update on what the letter says as soon as we get it ^_^

It took a year to get his EAD?

Yup, Almost a year. We sent Form I-765 (EAD) & Form I-485 (AOS) at the same time in June 2017. We called USCIS around late September & they said to wait a month & call again and so we called again (for 3 months straight, September, October, November) but we didn’t call in December until January and they said there was a delay & to call back in February if we didn’t hear of anything. We gave up so we would just check the USCIS Case Status online.

OMG a year of waiting for the EAD? Wow.

But can you tell me the timeline from the time u submitted your application for AOS until now? What is the waiting length cause I just submitted mine last month. May 3, 2018- got the notice from USCIS by May 9, 2018.

Got the forms by the 26th saying I have already a schedule for the biometrics. I dunno what will happen after that.

Can you share to me what happen after your biometrics and how long did u wait until you have got any response from USCIS?

Thank you.

I got my interview date a few days ago and my EAD card was just mailed today. I guess I'll be using it for a new drivers license!

F1 (graduated) with pending AOS after marriage! ^_^
