Hi all,

So last night my fiance booked his Lufthansa flight from Delhi - Frankfurt - Denver to enter on a K1 visa. On the Advance Passenger Information section, we may have made an error and entered him as a resident. If we did, YIKES, I know, big mistake. Is there any way to check what we put and if we made an error, can we fix it? His flight is on May 31. Has anybody else on here done this?

I'm panicking that we made a mistake. Please help!

It shouldn't even matter since you have to show the actual visa to enter and they will correct anything and everything once he enters the US, gives them his yellow packet and goes through secondary screening.

Edit: Lufthansa.. YUCK! 2nd worst European airline voted by Europeans!

I always thought that airline was pretty good.

Hi Julie, have you tried contacting Lufthansa directly?

Can’t he go into his flight booking online and check/amend? You can do that with other airlines, I’d be surprised if Lufthansa doesn’t have it as part of their “manage my booking” (or whatever they call it) options.

edit: yes looks like you can do it online

https://www.lufthansa.com/us/en/Data-collection-for-the-USA says wrt APIS

By entering their name and Filekey (booking reference) here or in the password-protected area under ‘My account’, they can retrieve their booking and complete their data entries.”

Thank you. After doing some brief reading on APIS, I was afraid that whatever he put in initially was immediately sent to the government. It's good to know that we have time to review and fix it if necessary. Thanks!
