If I won millions (GBPs preferably :P ) I would run my own residential home for the elderly....with over 20 years in that field I know what makes a bad one so I can't go wrong ;)

Here's the way it works. If the jackpot is 400 million dollars, every year I would get an additional 3 million dollars.

You know you can do better than 0.75% APY, right?

If it was a million, I'd give two weeks notice. It's not enough to facilitate my husband leaving his job.

If it was multiple millions, off we go travelling and my hubby can write his little heart out.

We would both quit working. I don't think I'd give notice though since my boss gives me less than 24 hours notice when she needs me on my days off. We would travel for awhile and then I'd like to do some volunteering at the animal shelter since I don't have much time for that right now.

I'd give a sufficient notice, probably a bit more than the 2 weeks (because I love my co-workers and wouldnt want to make things difficult for them). Then, I would share the money with my parents and sister, as well as my husband's family, buy a pied a terre in Paris which would be our home base, and start my own business there. I'd LOVE to start up a magazine.

I'd definitely invest my money so it would last a good while. Mostly, I'd just enjoy time with my husband and family.

If only....

It's not cruel. What about leather?

consolemaster,

animals are killed in unimaginable ways as to not damage their fur coats. ####### and vaginal electrocutions are common practices on fur farm animals.

 -- LOL, I know how that feels!

I'd do the exact same thing with my previous job. But since the current job has been good to me, I'd keep on working until they hired my replacement.
