Intent to Marry Document Type

Hi,

I'm getting all the necessary documents together for the i29f. I'm in the US and my fiance is in Russia, so I'm wondering if she can type up the intent to marry document, print it, sign it, and just take a photo and send to me, and I'll print it? Would a photo of a physical copy be enough? In other threads it seemed that people had success with scanned documents, but maybe a picture of a piece of paper is going too far.

Thanks

It would be best to have an actual signature document, as with other original copies, I had my fiancee mail (in the post) documents to my laywer in the US for this.

Scanned might be okay, especially for the USCIS part, but if you take updated copies to the embassy, I think a real signed document would be best.

USCIS issued a policy memorandum on 7/21/2016, where the only original signature required for a petition is the signature on the petition form itself.  All other evidence submitted in a petition can be photocopies of original signed document

YMMV

For USCIS, any photocopy or other reproduction of an original, inked signature is fine here.

I used an app called TinyScan to take photos that look basically the same as a scan. As noted, either is fine.
