Hi May filers, my son filed N400 on April 30th by mail under five year rule. He did the early walk in on May 18, 2018 as he plans to take a trip back to China at the end of May. Could someone please update his info for me. Thanks!

I filed online on 05/16/18, biometrics scheduled on 05/18/18.

Do i need the original notice of action to go for the early biometrics appointment; or can i just download the notice from the website. I see the notice on the website but I have not received it yet. I was wondering if I should wait for the original or go with the printout. I will be going to the Atlanta center.

Did you get an additional alert that your document is now available online or you just constantly checked for it? I Filed online 05/14 and got scheduled 05/18 but i still do not see the doc online.

Using a print-out is fine but you'll need to confirm that you can do a walk-in at your local office or ASC - if they don't that will be the reason why you'll be told to come back later vs having a print-out of the letter.

I read on VJ it would normally take 2 days for the letter to be on DHS. I checked last night (after 2-3 days) and saw the letter there. They did not send me a notice for that. You may want to check your mailbox as well, the physical copy might be in there already.

the printed copy from DHS website would look exactly the same as the physical one that you would receive in the mail.

I don't think it would cause any problem. However, the letter comes pretty fast, it's weird that you haven't gotten it yet.

In my case, it took 2 business days to show up under my documents tab, I got the notification on Friday and I was able to see the letter today, so it was 2 business days or 4 calendar days. (I dont really know if they do business or calendar days)
