N-400 May-2018 Filers

Just got biometrics notification this morning. No letter in the portal yet like others. As soon as I see that letter I'll add the date in. Hoping for an early walk in as my father is in town.

I filed my application online yesterday. I filed based on marriage to US-citizen.

Field office: Indianapolis

My notification online shows an estimated completion date of May 2019 - does anybody know if this just a standard date or based on their current lead times?

Are there any more fees related to filing as in biometrics etc? I am not sure if I remember correctly but when I filed for my green card years ago, I vaguely remember there being a separate fee for that. I don't know if now all the fees are combined in the initial payment we made when filing the N-400.

For general category the total fees is $725 per application (this includes fees for Biometrics). This fees can be waived if you fall under certain category defined by USCIS. I think all that detail is in the instruction for N-400.

Hi everyone-

 

My I751 was approved a month ago on 04/14/18 and I have since then been waiting for the GC to arrive. Unfortunately, there's still no sights of it.

I'd like to file my N400 online in May. Do you think it's possible to submit the application without the GC and provide it later?

Given that my 2-yr card and the 1-yr extension letter were taken away when I came to my infopass appt to get my passport stamped.

Has anyone experienced the same? Is it safe to submit it now and log back in to add more documents later?

Hello may filers! I just submitted my application today online, based on the 3 years rule, I got my receipt number, now waiting on what’s to come. My I-751 is still pending and I am CSC, not sure what’s going to heppen if I will get it approved prior my N-400 interview or if they will do a combo interview.

Hello may fillers. I applied on May 4 based on 3 years rule. I was wake in for  biometric on May 9.My case was changed for reviewing my biometric..good luck May fillers.

My wife us a CSC filer  for removal of condition.  After we had her passport  stamped with the I 551 last week at our local USCSI office (San Jose, CA)my wife applied for N400 on May 10 ,2018 via Online application. Notice date May 10 per document uploaded on her file.  Today her biometrics has been scheduled for May 30.2018. Got the letter uploaded on her doc files online.  I hope this will be faster than the pending I 751.

On May 12 (three days from filing), biometrics was scheduled for May 30.

 

Didn't see letter in portal until May 14 (took two days).

Pretty much same here.  Could have applied n-400 back in last July!  But didn't want to potentially delay the I-751.  Hope it goes faster this time!
