Yeah, the time estimate was creeping up all the time—it started at January 2021, them April, finally July 2021. No movement on the interview yet.

Same here its was january 2021 after that april and then july 2021 and they reuse my biometrics on September 04

We haven't heard anything back regarding our cases, but we got an infopass appt scheduled today! Hubby's extension expires 11/1/20 and our appointment is for 10/20/20.

Does anyone know if it would be worth asking the workers at the infopass about the case status?

That's good you got infopass appointment in advance. I was not able to get it before my letter expired. I went for stamping last month and they do not have any idea about case status. So not worth the ask at the infopass appointment.

Ok, that's what I figured.

I also was nervous that we would have to wait until after the letter expired, so I'm not sure if they're becoming less stringent (yeah right) or if I talked to a decent worker.

I attended my interview yesterday. Everything was super quick. There were about five of us in the waiting area for N400 .
Some of the questions that were asked:

1.Who was president during World War 1

2. Who lived in America before the Europeans.
3. Who is the Vice president now

The reading and writing questions were: When is Columbus Day? - Columbus day is in October.
then I was asked the all yes & no questions.
When was the last time I travelled out of the country.

Now I have to wait for the oath ceremony .

Praying for those of one still waiting to get an interview soon.

I just checked mine after I looked at your timeline and ours were so close and yes, my interview was scheduled on Oct. 8th!

I just knew it’ll be scheduled on right after the voting deadline....🤫

Good morning y’all

I had my interview yesterday afternoon and I passed it, however, no same day oath was given. The interview was conducted pretty much like what I’ve read at this site. The officer told me that I’ll receive the oath ceremony letter in the mail.

I decided to file N-400 after almost 27 years being a permanent resident, because I wanted to vote for this election. Even I missed the registration by a couple of weeks due to the pandemic, I still can say I’m happy that I’ll be done with USCIS soon!

Thank you and congratulations on your journey too.

My completion time got pushed back to Jan 21 from Nov 20 last night after the interview and I was feeling very discouraged. I hope I’ll get in on 23rd!

 Thank you!
Complétions time is not accurate at all. Mine says Jan 21  too.  Check the documents tab to know when oath ceremony letter is issued.

Nah. I got the Biometrics reuse letter in early September as well and, just like you, I haven’t heard anything since then. I’ve read somewhere that you usually get an interview scheduled a week or two after you get a Bio reuse notice. Not sure if that’s a general rule though or even a pattern.

Hubby got his 1 year stamp today.  They kept his green card and the worker wrote in his passport that the I-751 and N-400 are pending. When my husband asked about that, the worker said "don't worry about your cases, they're coming soon". Unfortunately, no further clarification was provided. Both cases should be at the field office, so fingers crossed will get an appointment notice before the end of the year.
