We filed CR1 in August of 2017. Received an RFE two weeks ago today, USCIS didn't like affidavits, so they have been redone and put in mail to them one week exactly along with other proof of bona fide relationship. I called them today and was told site would not be updated to reflect items being sent back in, and to wait another 60 days. This is so frustrating. I want a life with my husband.

Please correct your profile.  It indicates both DCF and Nebraska Service Center.  There is no DCF for Dhaka.

I'm sorry I have no idea what you are referring to

Look to the left and see what you've said about where you are from and what you filed for.  Correct it.

Sir, we filed for CR1, I am a US citizen, born here, my husband is in Bangladesh, and if I remember correctly the profile question asked what country immigrating  from.  Other than that, I really don't understand what you are referring to. Don't understand why the hostility. So please be nice, as I truly am not understanding. Also I'm on my phone not on computer so maybe I do not see what you do

It will take time. Immigration is not fast by any means. The response you got from them is a standard time frame of them just looking at/updating anything. At least you got an RFE, that means they have started processing your case. Expect it to be done soon. From the current buzz, it has been reported to be taking about 12-14 months total for CR1/IR1 as of now.

as others have said .. immigration is not easy and not for the weak-hearted.  Everyone over here has gone through lots of hurdles to be with their loved ones. My suggestion to you.. "Stay positive, visit your husband as much as you can and spend as much time in person and last but not the least when ever you do any sort of paperwork, perform checks over checks multiple time coz one tiny mistake will cost you number of days"

No hostility.  I'm just pointing out an issue you have now corrected.  Good job.

My 2 cents:

The entire immigration journey is fairly time consuming and can get ugly at times.  One of th primary reason we must act proactively and try to get as much info (and this site was a great source for me) is to avoid RFE or anything that may delay our process.

It doesn’t make sense to regret on why they didn’t like your affidavit but find a sample one (even from this site) that tells you what kind of info should be in there.

Losing patience is not going to help, at least at this early stage.  As you are filing for your husband, please get yourself aware of the AP aka advanced/administrative  processing.  That’s a mind blowing  process that will blow your mind.  I wish you all the best but make sure you are aware of the process.

May this time, you should be ready with all documents for NVC, are you?

best wishes.
