Hey guys, my biometrics was on June 19th and today received an update email from uscis. When I logged in it showed this msg “

We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case

You do not need to do anything at this time

We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your case.”

create an account those who have received NOA . It will be easier to track your application.

It’s actually not just for new filers. Existing filers are supposed to be getting updated extension letters. Here’s the notice from uscis:

Any idea why mine is only for 12 months? Could it be an error?

Dunno. They only made that change 2 weeks ago. When is yours dated?

I wouldn’t worry about it. The notice says existing filers will receive an updated extension letter that will extend for 18 months. I imagine there are a lot of existing filers so it will probably take a while for them to get all the letters out. And if they’re going in chronological order, we’ll be last to get ours.

Mine is dated may 29th...could it be the reason?

The notice came out on June 12th. You are fine.

Thank you. Does it mean only the cases after June 12th will take 18 months to process?

You can track the processing time here: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

CSC states between 18 & 20 months. It does not say whether it is the case for those who only received a 12 month extension letter. Why would our extension letter be valid for 12 months when the minimum processing time is 18 months?

EXACTLY!! At least they are issuing 18 months extension letters since Jun 11th.

That's why I am worried: why did we get an extension letter valid for only 12 months?

Any April CSC filers who got their biometrics letter yet?

I was wondering the same thing. I received my NO1 about a month ago and no biometric letter yet...
