Online appointment generates old DS-160 form

Good day! Need help again here.
I'm having a dilemma here with regards to my DS-160 form, I applied for a tourist visa last January 2017 and submitted a DS-160 for a tourist visa. Now, Im applying for a K1 visa and filled out a new DS-160 form and I already submitted it.
However, after scheduling an appointment it generates my old DS-160 form. So I cancelled it and now I'm trying to figure out how to change my Application ID to the new one since the system automatically generates my old Application ID.
Does anyone here knows how change my DS-160 Application ID to the new one?

Badly needed help here.

Thank you.

I think all you do is take the confirmation page for the right one to your interview. There’s no way to cancel old ones. Then they’ll use that number to pull it. When you sign up for ais, they ask for ds160 number so enter the right one.

I actually sign up for a new user at the site however after I fill up my informations it says that the information are exact informations with an existing account. Really don't know how to replace my old ds160 form with the new one.

@Billandlhay Have you managed to do anything about your DS? I am in the same position right now. I was searching and I have found this "If you have previously submitted a DS-160 application, you may use that information to complete a new application. You will need the Application ID from your previously submitted application to do this. To access previously submitted application information, click the “RETRIEVE AN APPLICATION” button and follow the instructions. If you use this option to complete a new application please make sure to carefully review to ensure that all information is current and correct." https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/Common/Instructions.aspx

Hi

Regarding the DS160 'Application ID' number:  Is this the same as an "A" number that is entered on the I-129F, page 4, Part 2, Item 2?  Field length and format appear to be the same.

Thanks

Did some research (which I should have done before asking the question...duhhh).  DS160 "Case number/application ID number" is not an 'A: number.  "USCIS does not assign everyone an A-Number. USCIS creates an Alien Registration Number for every permanent resident. Generally, they do not assign the number to nonimmigrant visitors. Nonimmigrants include anyone that is in the United States on a temporary basis. B1/B2 visas are nonimmigrant visas for visitors."

Thread is moved from the K-1 Process forum to the Embassy/Consulate forum.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
