just started waiver process.  had interview july 18. got 221g for more info.  and just placed in AP 2 days ago. waiting for a waiver now. ..and waiting.  and still waiting.  heard its 3 to 9 months

Just wanted to check in.

 

Anyone have any luck getting a waiver, or heard of someone who has?

 

I've been in AP for 3.5 months - Syrian - Ankara embassy. Have contacted 2 senators (both got generic replies back). Have asked Columbia University to reach out on my behalf (I will be attending once I get this visa inshallah). Don't know what else I or my wife can do...

I was interviewed in August 2018. I'm also an exception from the ban because I was present in the US after the effective date of the ban for about one month. 5 months of administrative processing and counting...
