QUOTE(Bill B @ Sep 23 2007, 08:50 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I have mailed my 8 letters so far...I hope everyone else has mailed their senators, congressman, and other key Government figures and media outlets.

Zee, I have noticed that although you received your NOA 2, you still wrote your letters...just wanted to say thanks for all of us still waiting and also those who come after us. Best regards.

What letters did you guys mail to your senators/congressmen?? With regards to the "fast" (sarcasm) processing of the Visa's?? If so, is there a document on this site for the letter, kinda like what there was for the filing??? I am all about putting pressure on our congress to speed things up, even if it doesn't help my case it can help later cases and also maybe have them review the entire process to simplfy it! (doubtful, as they just increased the cost, that would of been the time to do that as well!!!)

Yay Scott and d&S! Congrats to you both! I hope today brings more approvals!

I called CSC again today because I was so excited last Friday when I called I forgot to ask on what date we were approved. We were actually approved on the 19th. They still haven't sent me an email or updated the website though! The guy I spoke with told me they were having some problems with updates. I can't believe how lame they are there!

Oh, thought I should also mention that the first time I called today I spoke with someone at the national center (not CSC) and she couldn't even confirm that we were approved!

Makes you have such confidence in our government..... :o

Let's get some more approvals today, and for those of us approved - on to NVC!!!!!!

Congratulations to D & S and Scott & Yenifer! It is nice to see the CSC is actually in the game.

Sorry to see VSC still sitting on the bench. Those that want to see improvement and don't want others to go through this same type of service...write your letters...have a voice, be heard, there is strength in numbers. It is also good to know you at least tried to fix the system and didn't let the system beat you up without you throwing a couple of punches back.

Congrats to all the latest approvals, I'm sure more are coming this week....

I just received in the mail today a courtesy copy (my lawyer got the original) of the I-797C Notice of Action. In it it states that our petition has been sent to the NVC in Portsmout. Also, I like the part that says "The USCIS has completed all action; further inquiries should be directed to the NVC." Soo glad to be done with USCIS for a while! How long should I wait before calling NVC to check if it has been sent to the embassy?

We're not thinking abut Christmas, we just wanna be APPROVED!!!!!!!!!( i can hear you):yes:

Does anyone else have a love/hate relationship with VJ? It is a God send in the sense of supporting each other and knowing that we as individuals are not alone, as well as comparing your timeline to others... but it also makes me more insane by reading everyone's frustrations and thinking more into this dreadful process! I just can't keep myself off of it... haha.

COME ON USCIS!!!!!!!!!! Lets go MAY FILERS!!!!!!!!!!! GOod luck everyone!

I was thinking the same thing this morning. I does seem to increase my sense of anxiety when I read about everyone's frustrations but like you said, it is good to know that we are not alone.

It looks like 140 days for approval is the new timeline for CSC. Of course if USCIS gets their butts into gear maybe that will decrease. What is disappointing though is my VJ timeline increased two days. It appears that I will never get to my VJ adjudication date because it increases daily. Does anyone know why???
